Great spot if you're in a hurry for lunch! I swear our food came like 2 minutes after we ordered haha. 3 sizes of pho to choose from for reasonable prices, but unfortunately skipped the coffee because I think $7 is a bit steep :c Also it's great that this is located in a plaza with a parking lot. I cannot street park for my life, especially in Oakland
The place to come for a heart warming bowl of soup! Bun Bo hue is flavorful as well as their mi quang. Got the regular and vegetarian mi quang, vegetarian one came with lots of veggies and tofu. Wished there was just a little more meat in the regular as I feel like they used to put a bit more. Spacious interior with outside seating and food comes out relatively quick!
Pho King, nestled by the lake in a small shopping center, is a must-visit spot. I tried the #12 Chin Nam Ve Don--a pho with tender brisket and skirt steak in a rich, flavorful. The real highlight, though, was the bánh mì. The freshly baked bread was light and crispy, and the chicken was perfectly seasoned and delicious. Easily one of the best bánh mì sandwiches I've ever had. If you're nearby, don't miss it! Also the lemonade is made fresh . Service was extremely fast . Great spot to eat .
Pho King is a good pho spot! We were trying to expand our options by trying a new Pho spot (usually we go to Pho Huong Que). This place is a solid alternative. We liked the pho - got the large and they are definitely generous in the amount of noodles (but sad to say, I don't think the meat is particularly proportionately increased). That being said, a solid pho spot if you're looking for something somewhat affordable and tasty (without feeling thirsty afterwards!)
Haven't hit up all of the local pho spots but this has to be the quickest one I've had recently. The staff came back with our orders within minutes. Very pleasantly surprised because the restaurant was busy too. I mean it's all in the preparation right? Overall, a solid pho option for single diner to small groups. I have no complaints whatsoever.
